Subprocessors

SCAPTION relays live event audio to the third parties below to deliver transcription and translation. This list is maintained per GDPR.

Live audio and captions are processed in real time and not retained. A transcript is stored (for up to 30 days, then deleted) and sent to OpenAI only when an operator uses the optional AI Summary feature — see our privacy policy.

Not in the table on purpose: if an operator turns on the optional Zoom captions integration, finished caption lines go to Zoom as well. That is a transfer the customer instructs, to a provider the customer already has their own agreement with — Zoom is not engaged by us, so listing it as our subprocessor would misdescribe who answers for it.

Marketing-site analytics

These run only on our public marketing pages, only after you accept the cookie banner, and never on a page carrying a credential or event content (the live attendee page, Live Q&A, sign-in, or your dashboard) — see the privacy policy's Analytics & cookies section.

Marketing email

We send newsletters only to people who ticked the optional marketing box at signup, and only ever the email address itself — never event audio, transcripts or session data. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and withdrawing consent never affects your account — see the privacy policy's Marketing emails section.
